1. Overview

Knotify enables users to create, send and respond to invitations and manage event-related activities including guest and gift lists, attendance via mobile passes, and media sharing. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Knotify website, mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Knotify grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes. Knotify reserves all rights not expressly granted herein.

3. Restrictions

You must not, and must not permit others to:

  • license, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute or sublicense the Service;
  • copy, modify, create derivative works of, disassemble, reverse engineer or decompile the Service;
  • remove, obscure or alter proprietary notices;

4. Prohibited Activities

Any feedback, suggestions or ideas you submit relating to the Service shall be non-confidential and become the exclusive property of Knotify. We may use such submissions for any purpose without obligation to compensate you.

Your interactions with third parties are at your own risk and governed by their terms and privacy policies.

8. Updates and Modifications

We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Service.

9. Term and Termination

This Agreement remains effective until terminated by you or Knotify. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including for breach of these Terms. Upon termination you must stop using the Service and delete any copies in your possession.

10. Intellectual Property

All rights, title and interest in and to the Service and its content are owned by Knotify or its licensors. Except as expressly provided in these Terms, no rights or licenses are granted to you.

11. No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Knotify DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Knotify AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID TO Knotify FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR, IF NONE, ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD 100).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Knotify and its affiliates, officers, employees and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

In the event of a dispute, you and Knotify will attempt to resolve the matter informally. If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except for claims seeking injunctive or equitable relief regarding intellectual property rights. A Notice of Dispute should be sent. The arbitration provision limits your ability to bring certain claims in court or participate in class actions.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pakistan for any dispute not subject to arbitration.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any supplemental terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Knotify regarding the Service.

We collect personal information you provide (e.g., mobile number, name, email, profile photo), contact information from your device when authorized, usage and log data, and media you upload. We use this information to provide, improve and secure the Service, to communicate with you, and to comply with legal obligations.
